For every modelstitcher I know, the icing on the cake is when a design you stitched appears on a magazine cover. Just Cross Stitch doesn’t tell you when they have decided on a cover design, you just see it when it hits the newsstand. This design was very time consuming (lots of confetti) and I had such a tight deadline on it that I had to take it on vacation to Vegas with me. I had bronchitis and when the smoky casino would get to me, I would go to the room and stitch. It was the only way I finished on time.
